Google has disabled third-party cookies for 1% of Chrome users — about 30 million people — and plans to eliminate them completely by the end of the year. However, that isn't the end of the company's invasive tracking. Now, Google's Privacy Sandbox project aims to replace cookies with tracking directly in their browser.
